Plantation was more than placing saplings in soil—it required sorting, spacing, supervision, and constant observation. This story captures how labour coordination, field adjustments, and careful planning helped bring the farm to life, one plant at a time.

The plantation phase was the most delicate stage of the journey, where planning and preparation finally met living plants. Precision, labour coordination, and time management became critical.

On 13 November 2025, the plantation process formally began when three male and four female labourers arrived at the plot. The female workers carefully sorted and prepared aloe vera saplings, ensuring damaged or weak plants were separated. This step took longer than expected but was necessary to improve survival rates and avoid future gaps in the field.

During plantation, labour efficiency became a challenge, as manual sorting and planting required constant supervision to maintain correct spacing and planting depth. The team had to balance speed with accuracy to avoid root stress and uneven rows.

By 16 November 2025, after assessing the field conditions and plant availability, an additional 800 aloe vera plants were planted to utilise available space more efficiently. This required quick re-planning of row capacity and ensured better land utilisation without compromising plant health.

On 17 November 2025, 2,700 aloe vera plants were planted across the prepared rows. Further observation revealed scope for planting more saplings in certain sections, highlighting the importance of post-plantation review. This assessment helped identify minor spacing adjustments and reinforced the need for flexibility during execution.

This phase proved that plantation is not a single-day activity—it is a process of observation, correction, and responsibility toward every plant placed in the soil.
